The Regional Alternative Licensing Centers
(RALCs) are an extension of the North Carolina
State Board of Education,
Department
of Public Instruction,
Licensure
Section.
The RALCs provide services for
teaching candidates who qualify
for lateral
entry or
provisional professional educator licenses in
North
Carolina public and charter schools.
